Beyond my expectations...

Reed in Partnership changed the life of David Burns, a former retail assistant and storeman who lost his job with a pool services company due to a reduction in working hours. David was suffering anguish as a result of this and was struggling to afford his rent and bills.

David met with his Personal Advisor Yvonne Murphy who he immediately built rapport as the two worked together to develop an action plan for his return to work. "Yvonne was very helpful in getting me into the right frame of mind. In fact, everyone in the office was helpful and understood what it was like to be in that position. We discussed what sort of barriers I might have had and I said I had lost all confidence and felt worthless."

Yvonne referred David to a number of training courses including resume writing, mock interviews and understanding the business world. Employment trainers Ian Moll-Vignes and David Smith passed on to David a wealth of knowledge, this gave him the confidence and motivation to apply for a position in outbound sales with CPM Asia Pacific.

David began feeling really good about himself and was delighted to hear back from the employer that he was successful in obtaining the position. "I have never been happier in my life! I have a great income and a job that I can see myself at for a very long time, with chances for promotion" says David.
