All in a good day's work

Jason Foley came to Reed in Partnership seekingnothing more than a resume. His lack of IT skills made preparing a resume on his own a major challenge.

His Jobs Advisor Karen Isaac referred him to Reed in Partnership's internal IT course with Employment Trainer David Smith. Here he underwent IT skills and job search training and walked out with an email address, the ability to create a resume, search the web and the knowledge of how to send a fax.

Later that day, Jason received a call from an employer he had emailed his resume to that morning. After a short telephone interview, he was delighted to hear that he now had a job.

Jason says: "Coming to Reed was a wonderful experience,I can now make the house payments, and I left knowing how to work a computer."
